I've always wondered what else the cello could be. With Strings Unbound, I bring the cello to the front of a full band and explore everything from classical music to rock riffs, Latin grooves, and pop songs we all know. Sometimes you sit and listen. Sometimes you dance. I want you to feel free to do both.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I grew up loving rock music. I discovered the cello at fourteen, fell in love with classical music, and devoted years to studying it.
But the rock records never went away. Neither did my love of pop, great grooves, or music that makes people want to move. Eventually I realized those things weren't competing parts of me. They're all part of my musical life.
Today, I get to move between solo performances, collaborations, orchestras, private events, and my full-band concert project, Strings Unbound. Each one brings out another side of the music. I care about what I play, and I care just as much about the people listening. I want us to share something beautiful, surprising, and joyful. And I still believe there’s more to discover.

I perform on acoustic and electric cello, moving between classical music, rock, and pop. That can mean understated music while guests talk, a favorite song for an important moment, or a featured performance with more energy.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The rich, natural sound of a classical cello or the energy and versatility of an electric one. We can choose the right instrument and approach for your event.
Classical favorites, rock, pop, and contemporary hits. We'll talk about your musical preferences, any songs that matter to you, and the feel you want for the event.
We'll confirm the schedule, performance area, amplification, and other venue needs in advance. I'm happy to coordinate with your planner or venue so everything fits the day.
